National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA ) in cooperation with the International Festival «TodaysArt» ( The Netherlands, The Hague) , Association " Showrooms Moscow", the Goethe-Institut in Moscow , the Royal Netherlands Embassy and sponsorship Mondriaan Foundation opens at four sites in Moscow exhibition "Space LUCIDA», devoted to the phenomenon of light in modern culture . The exhibition will be held at 4 sites. In NCCA in the same space collected art objects embodying a variety of lighting strategies to fully convey all the subtle magic of light. Each of the authors explores light in their own way enters into a dialogue with him through sound and color, through video and digital technology strategy through cinema, painting , photography and installation . In spaces Association " Moscow showrooms » exhibition is divided thematically . Hall « On Kashirke » show the phenomenon of light in media forms - film, photography and conceptual objects. Exposition hall in « Peresvetov Lane » is devoted to the evolution of the interpretation of the phenomenon of light in art , from painting to new media . The hall « Belyaevo Gallery » exposition is built around the idea Kazimir Malevich about changing natural light on the technological paradigm , where artificial light begins to dominate over the natural .

Moscow gives viewers a rare opportunity to see the works of famous artists from Russia , Austria, Germany, Holland and USA, using light as a creative tool . Space of all four exposures in general - is a large-scale installation, where the light forms a magical reality .

Artists project in the works actively use artificial light technology , demonstrating the fundamental changes taking place in our civilization . His images interact with the natural , natural light, open up new aspects of our life and culture .

project is accompanied by a broad educational program : during the exhibition will be organized in the NCCA lectures recognized experts in the field of visual arts forms using light in the media and fashion , design , architecture and the urban environment .
