Exhibition of works of Yegor Islands «String Theory» opens today in the halls of the Gallery of Arts Zurab Tsereteli

Today, at 18.30 in the halls of the Gallery of Arts Zurab Tsereteli (Prechistenka, 19) opens an exhibition of Egor Islands «String Theory» .

Yegor Ostrov - bright representative originated in the late 1980's, in St. Petersburg a new artistic direction in art - neoakademizma, which has become a significant phenomenon of modern culture. As part of this trend Island coined its own admission, at first glance distinguishable technique - Network raster Sc. «Branded polosochki».

The artist explores the way in which the classical way on the eve of the XX - XXI centuries there in tough settings, technological environment.
